I have two teenage daughters who are 17 and 18, I love spending time with them, we walk the dogs and watch movies.
Up until 2 weeks ago I would care for my nan daily, she was in the late stage of dementia, I would take her out in her wheelchair. Clean and cook and help with hygiene.
I cared for my nan officially for a year, however I visited my nan 3 times a week before that to keep her company and make sure her lunch was eaten and she had let her dog out. I love my two dogs, they too were a great comfort for my nan.
She passed away in the last few weeks and I’d like to help others in a similar way.
