St Neots
Tell us about you!
I’m a friendly, outgoing person who likes to put my all in to everything I do. I love socialising with friends, spending time with family and being kept busy.
I really do love to help people and feel I’ve made a difference to someone’s day.
I have experience helping with my step-nan living with dementia. I also have experience working with vulnerable individuals, both young and old. This experience comes from my time helping at disability sports festivals, carrying out work experience in Bedford College’s foundation department and also working as a support worker at a fortnightly group for children with learning disabilities.
At the fortnightly group where I work as a support worker, I am also tasked with creating and planning new activities. I have to plan carefully and put a lot of thought thought into each activity to meet the needs of the people I care for.
I am a great communicator, able to speak to anyone. I can always find common ground with people and build from that. I am a chatty, bubbly individual and hope I make others feel at ease.
I am also able to approach conversations in different ways dependent on the person I am speaking with. Saying something in a different way or explaining it differently to ensure I can get across any information to anyone. Everyone understand things in different ways for example some people find things easier to understand if they have visuals and examples.
I have experience keeping notes, maintaining records, any administration and also running and attending meetings.
Availability: Day times and evenings. I can be flexible.
