I live in Crackington Haven, North Cornwall. I'm very fond of my home and embrace the beautiful surroundings.
I have a lot of interests such as photography, swimming, walking, attending music events and best of all I love spending time with my family and going on adventures.
I have been a support worker for over 10 years and feel in that time I’ve always lived and worked within the guidance of "valuing people" at all times and promoting the importance of independence.
I have completed the following training:
Level 2 and 3 in health and social care
Level 3 in safe handling and administering medication
Level 3 in team leading and management
I have worked in various social care settings for over 7 years from which I gained a broad knowledge in providing professional support to families to enable and promote independent living and fulfilment.
I am a conscientious worker and a credible team player with high degree of flexibility towards performance of my work.
In the course of seeking both personal and professional development I have pursued and achieved several trainings and qualifications which include NVQ level 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care with adults and young people's settings, level 3 in Medication administration and storage and have recently completed a level 3 in management and team leading to facilitate my aspired role as a senior support worker.
I always maintain high level of confidentiality and excellent interpersonal skills which enable me to interact and communicate effectively.
Availability: 30-40hours week
