Vivian is a retired science teacher who has worked for the last 30 years in Lima, Peru. He came to England with his daughter who will be studying at Farnborough Tech and bought has a flat in Fleet.

Vivian is interested in sports, walking and studying biology. At the moment he is trying to identify all the trees in England (having also done the same in Lima).

What Vivian Says:

I am interested in part-time work. I believe that I have the skills and empathy to be a very friendly and effective support worker.
I have been a primary and secondary school teacher through my career. I have had some experience with special education (working with students who were blind and students with other challenges). I am very patient and can show considerable empathy.

Availability: I want part-time work, available 3 days a week between 10 and 15 hours per week. However, I am flexible and would be responsive to your needs.

I’m quite an outgoing person. I enjoy playing football. Socialising with friends and family. I like watching films, Listening to music. Love to dance.

I have experience in care and have been supporting people for around 3 years and currently I work supporting people in care home.

In this role my duties are preparing meals, housekeeping, administrating medication, dealing with other care providers, helping with personal hygiene, and providing companionship. As I work with people living with dementia I have learnt a lot about the disease and have become very confident helping people with this disease.

Availability: Tues, Wed, Fri, every other weekends only looking for part time. 2 weeks notice.
