I am a kind, compassionate individual who has worked in care for the past 8 years. I have mainly worked as a community carer and for the past three years as an assessor.

I believe that clients should have consistency and routine in their lives. My caring colleagues will tell you that I am passionate about delivering good care, and I will go that extra mile to make sure that person feels happy and secure in my company.

I enjoy working nights but there is not an opportunity to do that in my current role.

I enjoy keeping fit. I enjoy walking and I have two very energetic spaniels who accompany me when I go for very long walks.

I enjoy gardening. I have a big garden where I grow flowers and vegetables. I live in a country cottage with my husband and two grown-up sons. Our house is very busy and is always full of laughter.

Do you have a driving license and access to a vehicle?: Yes, I have a driving license & access to a car

I have been in domiciliary care supporting and caring for people living at home for the last 13 months and I thoroughly enjoy it. It’s a very rewarding career to be in. 

I am currently studying a level 3 diploma in dementia.

I have had many clients ask for me to return to them to be their carer. My manager has said that I am a fantastic carer too.

Tell us about you!: I love eating out, the cinema and horse riding. I am a mother to 3 lovely girls and we have 2 birds, 2 cats and 4 guinea pigs! I absolutely love my job as a carer.

I’ve worked in residential homes predominantly looking after people living with dementia and have also worked in domiciliary care supporting people at home and have also worked privately one to one.

I also have personal experience in care, I help care for my grandad who is living with Parkinson’s disease.

I like to go for long walks with my family, baking, cooking and doing anything crafty! For myself I enjoy socialising and being with friends and family.
