I enjoy helping others as some day you may need help yourself! So I like to think that what you give in life you get back in return one day.

I have worked in care a couple of times, about 10 years ago I was a community carer, driving to people’s homes and helping with either cooking, cleaning, shopping personal care or just someone to talk to as most of the people didn’t get out much. I’ve also been working at a care home.

It was nice to know I could help and it cheered them up for the day. I have numerous training modules like dementia, health and safety, data protection and nourishment and more.

I do enjoy helping people I just wanted something I could do part time and I feel I am good at it.

The people I care for say I’m lovely and enjoy our meet ups as I tend to stay longer and chat!
