I’m a mum of 3 with 2 grandchildren my whole spare time is spent with my family I love reading always got a book on the go and I’m a total animal lover.

My nana had dementia when I was a teenager and I think that’s what made me go into care work as it’s my passion to care.

Availability: I’m looking for part time work, 2 maybe 3 night times.

Any other information?: I’m kind passionate about my work and life. I have empathy and always live life with a smile.

I really enjoy baking... especially cakes but I try not to eat them.… I also love walking in the lakes and spending time with my friends and sisters.

I have been a care assistant in the past but it was long before NVQs were required... also I was a carer for my mum who was initially diagnosed with dementia but was then told it was terminal cancer... so I have experience but just not the qualifications to show.

Availability: Mondays and Tuesdays are best for me at the moment as I’m still in my current job.

I'm into outdoor activities such as kayaking, open water swimming and biking. I sing and perform in amateur theatre and also do lighting tech for shows. I am an holistic therapist and give the best foot massage you will have ever had!

I have a HND level three in health studies.
NVQ 2 and 3 in health and social care. 

I have been a care giver for 13 years and have worked with a range of people with different levels of needs. I have an abundance of compassion, empathy and honesty that allow me to care well. I also believe in quality of life just as much as quantity so even if we are at our end stages let's live it well!

Availability: Any

Any other information?: I have just been nominated for the dignity in care award for the great Brittish care awards. I will find out if I have won my category in April 2021

I have many years experience in the care industry. I left for a while in the 90s but returned in 2000. Been a support worker ever since. I am very laid back & love working with others or on my own. Enjoy taking care of people. My biggest passion will always be cats. I am the crazy cat lady. My 2 gingers I rescued in 2018 are amazing. I do enjoy socialising but have not had chance to do much this year. I look forward to a more normal 2021.

I have worked in supported living for many years. I find it's the only job I've ever been good at. I enjoying supporting others to be the best version of themselves they can be. I do have NVQ qualifications in care. Level 1, 2 & 3.

Availability: I would be available 24/7 once I've given notice at my current employer. I do intend to stay on as a relief for them.

Any other information?: Having worked for The Glenmore Trust since 2008 I now find I'm in a stagnant stage of employment with them. I would prefer to be based in Carlisle but am still working in Penrith. Having offered to go there as a temporary favour 5 years ago.

I like watching football, cycling, and spending time with friends and family. I love going on holidays abroad, my favourite place is the canary islands! 

I like speaking to people… you could say I am a people person and I have a cheery disposition and like to make people laugh/smile.

I currently work in a 12 bedroom residential children's home, safeguarding 9 boys and 3 girls overnight between 10pm and 9am on a 4 on 4 off rota. I have worked here for just over 3 years now, 
It can be hard work at times but very rewarding.

I love the fact they feel safe with me looking after them overnight and if they wet the bed, or feel unwell they know I am here to support them.

Availability: Can work any hours, would like at least 28 hours a week.

Any other information?: I currently don't have a drivers license.

I am an avid reader and enjoy participating in quizzes. I love football and support my local team, Carlisle united. I am excellent with words and numbers and have won an entire series of countdown on tv. I am an excellent communicator with great people skills.

I have worked in the care sector with adults with learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and forensic needs as well as one to one support with vulnerable youths. I have experience of caring for a family member with mental health problems also.

I relish helping people to have a fulfilling life and contribute to making their day better and providing tailored support.

Availability: Can work after 7am, up till 9:30 pm and night times after 9pm, looking for full time hours.

Any other information?: I live on an excellent public transport route.
