My hobbies are going out with friends, watching and playing sport. I also enjoy watching films.
I am applying for this post because I enjoy working in care very much, I am a people person.
I have been working as a Healthcare Assistant for three years. I have good organisation skills. My duties within this role have involved, washing clients, preparing their meals, ensuring they have enough fluids through the day, helping them with day to day activities and always making sure to listen and help them when needed.
I have worked beside nurses and senior carers within my workplace and have a good general knowledge and understanding.
I also have experience with end of life care, ensuring they are comfortable and supporting their relatives and loved ones.
I have completed manual handling training, mouth hygiene and food safety training days. I have also completed online courses, keeping up to date with the courses whilst also working, these courses involved ones such as safety and well being, food hygiene, hand hygiene, fire safety, child protection and many, many more.
I have a caring nature, I am very patient and I’m a good listener. I am organised and punctual. I am able to remain calm, and show empathy when you needed. Another really good attribute I have is that I’m always happy and smiling!
