I have over 20 yrs experience in the care sector. I've worked in Care homes and but did a year supporting a lady living with dementia in her home.
I gained my Care Certificate last year. I adore working with the elderly and always try to brighten up their day.
The Care Home I work in is great but it would be lovely to spend more time with clients, which sometimes we don't get to do much of. It's great seeing them smile though and give you a hug!
I know I always bring a smile to my residents faces and they love my singing, so they tell me. 😆
I strive to give 100% in all I do and they know if they ask me to do something they can trust me do it/sort the problem out or failing that ask someone who can help.
My residents know as soon as I walk into their room the job will be done properly and it's always a pleasure to be asked for by name.
Outside of work I love making artificial flower arrangements and wreaths. I sell a lot to family and friends and have a great eye for detail. I find it easy to put my hand to anything, very versatile and try to be as accommodating as I can be.
I have 4 dogs which I adore walking. They're very much my babies now the children have grown up.
Love cooking and entertaining. I live in a 18th century cottage which is great for having friends round and love getting out and pottering around in the garden.
I’m a very passionate person, always cheerful, love having a giggle and chat. Strive to put 100% in everything I do.
I class myself as a very compassionate person and always try to be there to lend a hand to anyone in need. I have high expectations of myself and the thought of letting anyone down or not giving my all can make me sensitive as I would hate for anyone to think badly of me.
Do you have a driving license and access to a vehicle?: Yes, I have a driving license & access to a car

Availability: I'm available Mon-Fri. Occasional weekend if desperately needed. Hours available between 8 and 1/1.30pm - 18/20 hrs a week.
