I have worked in supported living with vulnerable adults, I have also worked in respite centres for vulnerable people. At the moment I am a home carer working in the community where I do personal care, administrating medication, I help with shopping and give additional support when needed.
I have completed the diploma in health and social care and the care certificate qualification. I have also done courses in first aid, moving and handling, safeguarding and medication.
I cared for and supported a lady called Kate’s mum she said I went beyond the care of duty looking in after her, making her lunches when I should have been at home!
Outside of work I enjoy cooking, gardening, listening to music and walking my two rescue dogs.
