I am currently working with Midlothian Council in Newbyres Care Home, I work 3 days per week and enjoy my work a lot. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with family and friends. I enjoy going to the gym/swimming and going for walks with my dogs, I have a great love for animals.
I work in Newbyres Care Home helping residents with their day to day living tasks, while using the appropriate aids, attending to their personal care and continence care needs, assisting with showering, dressing, oral care, administering medication, assisting with meals/fluids and updating care plans.
I have been trained on Medication, Manual Handling, Epilepsy, Bowel Management and PEG feed.
I am currently in the process of working towards my SVQII and I'm PVG/SSSC registered. I also work with a disabled woman as her personal assistant 4 hours per week.
Availability: 3 nights per week.
I work on a 5 week rota basis at the moment but only 3 days per week, so I am happy to work on the odd couple of days through the week or nights.
I am a caring compassionate person and willing to help out whenever I can, although I work at the moment I can give my availability and will be happy to try and accommodate.
